Setting the Base Course

Using a non-shrink grout as a leveling pad, place the first base course of Vista DSM™ units over the vertical rebar extruding from the footing. The surface of the block with the alignment grooves should be placed down and the open pin holes with the smooth surface should face upward. Ensure smooth transitions and level from block to block transitions both from front to back and side to side. Allow a period of approximately one day for the leveling pad to cure before further installation of Vista DSM™ units.
